Born in Scottsbluff, Nebr. Married to Sandy McFarland (34 yrs); three children, Matthew, Cary and Cady. Sandy is an Every Day Math Laiason with the Vigo County School Corporation; has her Masters Degree in Elementary Education from Indiana State University and has taught for 18 years. They have nine grandchildren.
In his 20 years at MCC, the church has grown from 295 in attendance to 1400 in 2003. Relocated in 1992 and a second relocation in 2001. Currently have two worshiping communities (contemporary and one aimed at Gen Xers (14-25 yr. olds). They have a staff of six full time pastors.
He is the founder of the Wabash Valley Ministerial Association. The Association was formed to help promote unity in the Church of Jesus Christ through prayer, worship and evangelistic outreach. There are weekly prayer meeting and quarterly worship services among the member churches. There has been a city-wide crusade sponsored by the group in 1996. Held the Jesus Video Distribution in 1998.
Vince serves as chairman of the Board of Directors for Harvest Prayer Ministries (David Butts Director). Serves as a chaplain at Union Hospital and Regional Hospital. Member of the Alliance for Growth and Progress in Terre Haute. Board of Consultants for Church Communications Network. Served as National Prayer Chairman for the North American Christian Convention in 2003. Volunteer Chaplain at the Wabash Valley Correctional Facility (Maximum Security Prison, Carlisle, IN).
